Afbouwhuys: rebranding and new website for the most beautiful finishing company of NL

For Afbouwhuys we realized a complete rebranding and digital translation at E-Expansion. The challenge was clear: several specialist companies had been brought together under one name, but this was not yet perceived as one strong brand. The image was fragmented, communication was inconsistent and the website did not do enough justice to the quality of the projects.

The challenge

Afbouwhuys operates as an umbrella finishing contractor with various disciplines under one roof. In practice, this meant a lot of expertise, but to the outside world a clear, recognizable identity was lacking. In addition, the existing website was mainly informative, with no clear focus on conversion or project experience.

The question to us: develop a brand that exudes trust, emphasizes the collaboration between the labels, and at the same time performs commercially stronger.

The approach

We started with the foundation: positioning. Afbouwhuys had to feel like one party with an overview, expertise and clear agreements. No noise, no marketing language, but a down-to-earth, professional image that fits the sector.

From this basis, we developed a new visual identity. The logo became sleek and recognizable, with a powerful use of color that immediately stands out but also remains professional. We recorded everything in the brand book: typography, use of color, visual style and tone of voice. This ensures that all communication from website to printed matter is consistent.
